We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our Learning Support Department and Enhanced Resource Provision at Huntington School.
This role requires a confident and resilient person who can deal with students effectively in situations that may require the use of diplomacy and tact; flexibility is also vital in order to meet the demands of a busy school.
If you are considering this position, then you must have GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above (or equivalent to) as the role will involve supporting students with English/Literacy and Numeracy.
This role requires a confident and resilient person who can deal with students effectively in situations that may require the use of diplomacy and tact; flexibility is also vital in order to meet the demands of a busy school. While full training will be provided, experience of the following would be an advantage:
- The ability to motivate and encourage students to develop and achieve in the school environment.
- To be able to respond to the individual needs of our students and promote the inclusion of all students in the school.
- Have excellent communication skills, ICT capability and be able to work on your own initiative and also work well in a team
