Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This position requires a strong commitment to patient welfare and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Provide high-quality patient care by making patients feel comfortable and informed about their treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure optimal patient flow.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance the overall patient experience.
Skills
- Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
- Proficient in English, with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Background in nursing or relevant qualifications that support nursing duties within a dental setting.
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
