That’s Script: Restaurant & Bar at The Hertsmere and we’re looking for enthusiastic people to join us on a casual basis. Whether you’re looking for weekend work, extra hours, or a flexible role that fits around your life, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
No two shifts are quite the same at Script, from relaxed post-round lunches to lively society dinners and private events, you’ll be at the heart of making every visit memorable.
- Welcoming and looking after guests with warmth and professionalism
- Taking food and drink orders, serving at tables and the bar
- Preparing and serving drinks, from barista coffees to cocktails
- Keeping the bar and dining areas clean, stocked, and looking their best
- Supporting events, golf society days, and private functions
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider front-of-house team
Who we’re looking for
We’re less interested in a lengthy CV and more interested in people with genuine enthusiasm and a great attitude. That said, it helps if you:
- Are friendly, confident, and love looking after people
- Have some bar or restaurant experience (useful but not essential, we’ll train you)
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during busy periods
- Are 18 or over (required for serving alcohol)
- Can commit to regular availability, including weekends
- Take pride in your appearance and represent the venue professionally
