We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Customer Service Assistant to join our night shift team! In this role, you will be the friendly face and helpful voice for our customers during evening hours, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service expertise while working 4 nights on and 4 nights off in a fast-paced, lively setting.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries both in person and over the phone using excellent phone etiquette
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and store policies in a clear and friendly manner
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing
- Upsell relevant products or services to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle transactions efficiently using basic math skills for cash register operations and billing
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks during busy night shifts while maintaining high standards of service
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and upselling techniques is advantageous
