Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products according to technical specifications and drawings.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, sewing equipment, and fabrication machinery to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on equipment and machinery.
- Assist with the organisation and management of warehouse stock, ensuring materials are stored safely and accessibly.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move materials or finished products within the workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Follow safety protocols at all times, recognising potential hazards associated with assembly and fabrication work.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements or safety measures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in assembly, fabrication, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity using hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with sewing or fabric-related tasks is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in completing tasks accurately.
- Prior experience working with assembly lines or manufacturing environments is desirable.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual labour throughout shifts.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to industrial work environments.
