Graduate Learning Support Practitioner - College
A College in Coventry are looking for confident graduates to support their High Need Learners in both a 1:1 and small group setting.
This LSP - Learning Support Practitioner role is ideally suited to a recent graduate with a resilient and empathetic nature combined with a genuine passion for encouraging independent thinking.
You will be there to support students and help them overcome any barriers to learning.
The needs of learners can range from physical, cognitive, behavioural and social interaction. The LSP may have to take notes, explain tasks and get the student to answer questions for themselves. There may be the need for Literacy and numeracy support with assignments and the LSP will be the link between the student and the tutor.
This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate who wants to support students, immerse themselves within college life and eager to gain hands on classroom experience.

The Opportunity:

- £550 - £575 weekly – term time only
- Full time role (Monday - Friday)
- 26/27 academic year
The successful graduate must:
- Knowledge of mental health first aid, resilience building, and strategies for supporting students’ personal and academic development.
- An understanding of the challenges students face during their university experience and a passion for supporting their wellbeing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
