We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a care package supporting a client with complex needs in their own home. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference while supporting an individual to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.
Clinical Needs
Cerebral Palsy.
Severe Dystonia.
Dysphasia.
Registered Blind.
Registered Deaf.
Clinical needs are the primary focus of support, with significant physical health complexities.
Increased choking risk requiring close supervision and support during eating and drinking.
Requires assistance with feeding and all aspects of daily care.
Additional Requirements
Relies on support staff to facilitate communication.
Does not have full capacity and requires encouragement and support with decision-making.
Staff should promote choice, independence, comfort, learning, movement, and engagement in meaningful activities.
Requires full support with all personal care needs.
Staff provide assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, eating and drinking.
Requires support with repositioning and daily living activities.
Fully dependent on carers for health management and personal care.
Requires full assistance with transfers and repositioning.
Safe moving and handling practices are essential at all times.
Hobbies and Interests
Enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests with support from his care team.
Particularly enjoys listening to music, especially classical music.
Enjoys trips to the cinema and requires full support with travel, seating arrangements, and selecting a suitable film.

About you
A caring and compassionate nature.
Excellent communication and literacy skills.
Experience working within a care setting or supporting clients in their own homes.
Confidence using IT systems and online care plans.
