We’re Hiring – Delivery Driver
The London Fryer
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team at The London Fryer.
This role is much more than just driving. When there are no deliveries, you’ll be expected to help the team with various duties around the shop to keep everything running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
Deliveries:
- Delivering customer orders safely and efficiently using your own vehicle.
- Planning and completing multiple deliveries (up to 6 at a time).
- Using our insulated delivery bags to keep food hot and secure.
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.
In-store duties (when not delivering):
- Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean.
- Preparing curries and mushy peas.
- Assisting with light food preparation.
- Collecting food items ready for orders.
- Answering the telephone and taking customer orders.
- Helping wherever needed to support the team.
Requirements:
- A full, valid UK driving licence.
- Your own reliable vehicle.
- Appropriate insurance for food delivery/business use (this must be arranged by you).
- Friendly, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
- Happy to work as part of a busy kitchen team.
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
Pay:
- Hourly rate, plus payment for each delivery completed.
Our delivery area covers Livermead through to White Rock, so good local knowledge is an advantage.
