As a Production Operative working within our Dry Prep area, you will play a key role in the preparation, weighing, blending, and packing of a wide variety of dry ingredients and products. You will be responsible for following structured production plans, accurately measuring ingredients, operating relevant equipment, and ensuring products are prepared to the highest quality standards. Full training will be provided to ensure the safe and effective use of equipment and machinery.
Operating in a fast-paced environment, it is very important that you are able to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with internal procedures through a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Shifts: 5 days a week (including weekends), 2pm - 11pm
Salary: £27,293 per annum
Time Off: 30 days holiday + 22 additional days off
What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing, weighing, blending and packing a variety of dry products in line with daily production plans

Meeting daily production targets as set by the business

Quality checking products to ensure they meet required standards

Accurately labelling and packaging products

Working alongside Warehouse and Production teams to ensure a smooth flow of operations

Remaining flexible to support other areas of production when required

Maintaining high levels of housekeeping, ensuring food hygiene standards are adhered to at all times

Complying with food safety, allergen control and health & safety procedures

Maintain high standards of personal hygiene when handling products including hand washing, PPE use and accurate illness reporting
- Assisting with stock rotation and ingredient handling where required

Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment (Desired)

Understanding of food safety, allergen management and hygiene standards (Desired)

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Strong time management and attention to detail.
