Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking a Drainage Lining Engineer to join our growing team and build a long-term career in the utilities sector.
You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality pipeline rehabilitation works, working across lining, patching, and cutting operations, with opportunities to progress into a lead technician or supervisor role.
Location: Bradford
Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.

The Role
As a Drainage Lining Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality drainage repairs across multiple contracts.
You will:
- Carry out CIPP lining and patch repair works
- Operate and assist with cutting units and reinstatement works
- Work across lining, patching, and rehabilitation teams
- Support and set up traffic management systems
- Work safely within confined spaces
- Complete site documentation using electronic tablets
- Carry out and review site-specific risk assessments
- Ensure all works are completed in line with method statements and H&S procedures
- Perform daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Maintain tools, plant, and PPE to a high standard
- Deliver strong customer service on-site
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in drainage, lining, or trenchless technology
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and within a team
- Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime and occasional weekends
- Willingness to travel and work away when required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good level of physical fitness

- Confined Space Training
- EUSR Water Hygiene / SHEA
- CSCS Card
- CCTV or jetting experience
- Traffic management knowledge
