As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an organised and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and support the efficient movement of stock and orders. This role combines hands-on warehouse duties with team leadership responsibilities, ensuring high standards of accuracy, productivity, and customer service are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation
- Managing, motivating, and developing warehouse staff to maintain productivity and performance
- Allocating workloads and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
- Monitoring warehouse KPIs and preparing reports for senior management
- Investigating warehouse issues, including missing stock, incorrect dispatches, damaged goods, and stock discrepancies
- Identifying process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
- Booking goods into the warehouse accurately and carrying out quality checks on incoming stock
- Overseeing stock management processes, including stock placement, stock accuracy, and inventory control
- Processing and monitoring customer returns
- Ensuring accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders
- Maintaining warehouse systems and ensuring stock records remain up to date
- Conducting regular stock counts and audits
- Ensuring a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with health & safety procedures
- Working closely with Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing teams to resolve operational queries and support business needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and dispatch processes
- Experience managing and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyse warehouse performance and report on KPIs
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience investigating operational issues
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Comfortable using warehouse management systems and basic computer software
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Flexible, hands-on approach with willingness to support operational tasks when required
Desirable Skills
- Forklift licence/certification
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Full UK driving licence with the ability to carry out occasional van collections and deliveries when required
Details
- Salary: Up to £23,000 depending on experience
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- Location: Must be commutable to ST16

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
