We are looking for an assistant to join our landscaping business working on a range of high-end residential projects in Surrey, Berkshire, and Hampshire.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about gardens and plants, takes pride in doing a great job and have a good customer attitude as you will be meeting private homeowners. You should be presentable, reliable, trustworthy and polite. The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience within the industry, be able to work as part of a team and use own initiative. Attention to detail with a sense of pride in your work are paramount.

Contract: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per a week
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- To work in a design and build team producing domestic gardens from design or instruction.
- To carry out the physical implementation of the gardens including: slab laying, moving materials and aggregate, brick laying, planting, turfing, fencing, excavating, mortar and concrete mixing and working with water features.
- To ensure, where possible, that the site is kept as clean and tidy as possible. Once a job is completed the tools used are cleaned and put away.
- To deal with client queries promptly and efficiently, using initiative at all times.
- To ensure that delivery notes are handed in to the main office.
- To ensure, where possible, that the company vehicles are kept clean and tidy.
- To make yourself aware of the health and safety policy and work within it.
- To produce the gardens to a high specification within given time frame.
- To take responsibility for company tools and vehicles under their control.
- To report any tool losses or damage to equipment/vehicles to the Landscape Manager.
- To carry out any other ad-hoc duties directed by your supervisor or manager.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Excellent customer service skills- Previous experience within Landscaping
- The ability to complete physical tasks, i.e. lifting, bending, carrying
- Horticultural knowledge is desirable, but not essential
- Full UK Drivers License
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise is essential
