Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Are you confident, ambitious and great at speaking with people?
We’re looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our friendly team in Newcastle upon Tyne. You don’t need previous recruitment experience—full training and ongoing support will be provided.
This is a fast-paced, sales-focused role where you’ll build relationships with candidates and employers, identify new opportunities and help people take the next step in their careers.
What you’ll be doing
- Speaking with candidates and clients by telephone
- Searching for suitable candidates for current vacancies
- Introducing candidates to relevant career opportunities
- Developing relationships with new and existing clients
- Writing and advertising job vacancies
- Reviewing CVs and conducting initial telephone interviews
- Arranging interviews and supporting candidates throughout the process
- Following up on enquiries and potential opportunities
- Maintaining accurate records on the recruitment database
- Working towards individual and team targets
What we’re looking for
Previous experience in recruitment, sales, customer service or a call-centre environment would be helpful but is not essential.
You could be a great fit if you are:

- Organised and able to manage several tasks
