Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Follow individualized care plans meticulously to meet each person's unique needs and preferences
- Support medication management and health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain clear, respectful communication with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Drive or accompany clients on errands or appointments when required, ensuring safe transportation
- Keep accurate records of care provided using IT systems and document any changes in condition or concerns promptly
- Promote a positive environment by engaging clients in social activities and encouraging their participation in community events
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong driving skills with a valid license are preferred for roles involving transportation duties
- Familiarity with creating and following care plans ensures personalized support for each individual
- Good command of English is necessary for effective communication with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills are important for maintaining accurate records and updating care documentation
- Excellent communication skills are essential to build trusting relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
