Working Pattern
- Day Shift Only
- 3-2-2 rotating Panama shift pattern
- Average of 84 working hours per shift cycle
- Standard start time: 06:00
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our production operation runs efficiently and safely. You'll be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
- Maintain electrical systems to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
- Manage tools, equipment and spare parts inventory
- Maintain excellent GMP standards within the workshop and across the site
- Develop a strong understanding of all machinery and production equipment
- Work closely with Operations and support HACCP requirements
- Manage contractor permits and ensure RAMS are adhered to
- Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and compliance with company procedures
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Source parts and liaise with suppliers to achieve best value and availability
- Provide engineering support across the operation as required
About You
You'll ideally have:
- A recognised Engineering qualification
- Strong electrical engineering skills and practical maintenance experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, solution-focused approach
- Food Hygiene Level 1 certification
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- 18th Edition qualification
- HACCP Level 2
- Food Hygiene Level 2
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge or experience
