Job Opportunity: Late Shift Warehouse Operatives, Letchworth
We are looking for Warehouse Operatives for our Letchworth facility. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a varied workday that combines Flexi Trucks, Counterbalance FLT operating, whilst being fit and able to handball and pick in the Warehouse.
You will be an integral part of the physical flow of goods through our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect items for defects or damages before packing.
- Label packages correctly and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting stock levels and any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing packing duties.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in a packing or warehouse role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift packages as required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Driving licence necessary.
- Fork truck experience ideal but not essential, training can be provided on site.
Shift Details
We are hiring individuals for the following fixed schedules:
Hours of Work:
13:00pm to 23:00pm
1 month training period working 08:00am to 18:00pm before commencing late shift.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
