About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven Registered Manager to lead and develop our Domiciliary Care and Supported Living services. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to oversee one established branch, ensuring the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care and support.
In addition, the successful candidate will provide temporary management oversight for a second, smaller branch during a period of maternity leave cover. This arrangement is expected to be temporary and supported by the wider management team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, driving service quality, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring excellent outcomes for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Register with and maintain compliance with CQC requirements.
- Provide effective leadership and operational oversight of Domiciliary Care and Supported Living services.
- Ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in line with legislation, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain and improve CQC standards, quality assurance processes, and service performance.
- Lead, motivate, and develop care and office teams to create a positive and high-performing culture.
- Manage recruitment, induction, training, supervision, and performance management processes.
- Monitor branch performance, budgets, occupancy/hours growth, and KPI achievement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Manage safeguarding concerns, incidents, complaints, and investigations appropriately.
- Ensure effective rota management and staffing levels to meet service requirements.
- Support business development opportunities and organic growth within the branch.
- Provide temporary oversight and support to a second, smaller branch during maternity leave cover.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Senior Manager within Domiciliary Care, Supported Living, or Adult Social Care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage service performance.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing safeguarding, audits, compliance, and quality assurance processes.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable
- Experience managing both Domiciliary Care and Supported Living services.
- Track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC ratings.
- Experience in service growth and business development.
- Multi-site management experience.
