Airbnb Property Care Assistant (Cleaning, Inspections & Linen Management)
We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Property Care Assistant to help maintain our Airbnb properties across Milton Keynes to an exceptional standard between guest stays. This role is more than cleaning—it involves preparing each property for incoming guests, carrying out quality inspections, managing linen, and communicating any issues to ensure every guest enjoys a five-star experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare the property between guest check-outs and check-ins to a consistently high standard.
- Thoroughly clean bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, living areas, and all guest spaces.
- Change beds and make them with freshly laundered, hotel-quality linen.
- Wash, dry, fold, and organise all used linen and towels.
- Maintain and manage linen stock, ensuring there is always sufficient clean bedding and towels available for upcoming bookings.
- Restock guest essentials such as toiletries, tea, coffee, and other consumables.
- Carry out a detailed inspection of the property after every clean to ensure it is fully guest-ready.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, missing items, low stock levels, or anything requiring attention, including photos where appropriate.
- Check that appliances, lighting, heating, and other key amenities are functioning correctly before each guest arrival.
- Help maintain consistently high presentation standards that contribute to excellent guest reviews.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in Airbnb, holiday let, hotel, or domestic cleaning is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and confidence using a smartphone to send updates and photos.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, as cleaning schedules are based on guest bookings.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage, as properties are located across Milton Keynes.
Hours & Pay
- Flexible working hours based on guest bookings.
- The average property clean takes approximately 5 hours.
- All properties are located within Milton Keynes.
- Pay is made every two weeks (fortnightly).
- Competitive hourly or per-changeover rate, depending on experience.
