Precious Marble is a family-run business based in Bedford, specialising in high-quality Quartz, Granite, Marble, and Sintered stone surfaces. We are looking for a motivated Trainee Polisher / Finisher to join our friendly workshop team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to learn a skilled trade. You do not need previous experience, as full training will be provided. What matters most is a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
You will be trained by experienced team members and given the chance to develop valuable skills in stone polishing, finishing, and surface preparation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Learning how to polish and finish stone worktops to a high standard
- Creating different edge profiles and finishes on Quartz, Granite, Marble, and Sintered materials
- Using hand tools and workshop equipment safely under supervision
- Reading job sheets, drawings, and instructions
- Helping to check finished work for quality and accuracy
- Keeping the workshop clean, safe, and organised
- Following health and safety procedures, including wearing PPE
- Assisting with the careful handling and movement of stone
