Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Afternoon Cleaning Operative to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, corridors, and communal spaces, ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to achieve optimal results.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistency and quality of service.
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly, adhering to recycling protocols where applicable.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and storage areas, ensuring they are organized and well-maintained.
- Support team members with additional cleaning tasks as needed to ensure all areas are kept pristine throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently during afternoon shifts, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties that may involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage but is not essential; training will be provided.
