We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, energetic and customer-focused Sales & Beauty Advisor to join our team in a beautifully refurbished pharmacy with an excellent local reputation and a loyal customer base. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has a passion for retail and beauty products, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time position, and we are seeking someone who is looking to build a long-term career with our business and become a valued member of our team.
About the Role
As a Sales & Beauty Advisor, you will be at the heart of the customer experience. You will proactively engage with customers, identify their needs, and confidently recommend products that provide genuine value and improve their wellbeing. You will play a key role in growing our retail and beauty categories through excellent product knowledge, relationship building and natural upselling techniques.
As we offer a range of private healthcare services alongside standard NHS pharmacy services, professionalism, discretion and a strong understanding of customer confidentiality are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
- Engage customers and confidently recommend suitable products.
- Promote and upsell beauty, skincare, wellness and healthcare products.
- Build strong relationships with regular customers.
- Maintain attractive and well-stocked retail displays.
- Assist with stock management and merchandising.
- Support the pharmacy team in creating a welcoming and professional environment.
- Help drive retail sales and achieve store targets.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and information governance.
- Support customers with general enquiries and signpost pharmacy services where appropriate.
What We're Looking For
- Previous retail, beauty, pharmacy or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, cosmetics, aesthetics or a pharmacy environment would be advantageous.
- A confident, outgoing and approachable personality.
- Excellent communication skills with a high standard of spoken and written English.
- A genuine interest in beauty, skincare and wellbeing products.
- Strong sales ability with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Self-motivated, reliable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of customer confidentiality and the importance of information governance.
