Location: Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £29,500 - £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 45 hours per week, 5 over 7 shift pattern (including weekends)
Shift Time: 9am - 6pm (flexibility required)
This role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, operating between 3°C and 5°C.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be the key point of contact on the shop floor, leading a team of warehouse operatives and driving performance across a fast-paced FMCG operation. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest standards of service, accuracy and efficiency every day.
Leading, motivating and supporting a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily KPIs.
Overseeing the receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods.
Ensuring stock accuracy through effective inventory control and regular checks.
Driving a strong Health & Safety culture across the team.
Coaching and developing team members to support performance and progression.
Monitoring productivity and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.
Experience in a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor or similar leadership role.
Background in a chilled FMCG or fast-paced warehouse environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Good understanding of warehouse systems (WMS) and inventory processes.
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on results and people development.
