As a Team Leader in our Restart team, you’ll lead, motivate and support a team of Progression Job Coaches, helping participants move into sustainable employment and achieve positive outcomes. Your leadership will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services while ensuring performance, compliance and customer service standards are achieved.

What you’ll do as a Team Leader
You’ll be entrusted to:

Lead and manage a team of Progression Job Coaches to achieve key performance indicators, including Job Starts, First Earnings and Job Outcomes

Monitor performance through regular reviews, caseload discussions and management information, implementing improvement plans where required

Deliver effective people management, including coaching, development, performance reviews and supporting colleague growth

Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners and Jobcentre Plus to ensure participants receive the right support at the right time

Use performance data and insights to drive continuous improvement, quality and compliance across service delivery

Support recruitment, onboarding and development activities while fostering a culture of trust, care, innovation and high performance

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…

Previous leadership and people management experience, ideally within employability, welfare-to-work, skills or related operational environments

Experience using performance data and management information to drive team performance and achieve targets

Strong coaching and performance management skills, with experience supporting colleague development and managing performance reviews

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
-
A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) together with strong organisational, planning and time management skills
