An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our well established Quality department, as a Quality Controller working the mid shift 2pm-10.30pm. There will be a month of training working on days 8am - 5pm. This role offers a competitive salary and overtime as appropriate, paid at time and a half. Experience isn’t essential as extensive training will be given.
Duties:
- Performing the inspection of product throughout the manufacturing process and final release
- Supporting the batch traceability process
- Conducting investigations on quality non-conformance issues
- Learning other roles within the Quality department to provide cover in times of absence or high or varying workloads as directed by the Quality Manager/Operations Director
- Delivering detailed quality associated training to personnel when required
- Supporting internal audits as well as external audit programmes when required
- Inspecting and calibrating measuring equipment according to the calibration plan
- Delivering detailed quality associated training to personnel when required
- Monitoring quality management system awareness at all levels within the Company
- Helping to manage quality control systems for external businesses
- Working alongside other departments and personnel in the Company to improve systems
- Carrying out any other work as directed by the Quality Manager
- Carrying out final inspections as per agreed KPI’S
- Attending all training courses as and when required

Pay: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
