Job Overview
Due to staff sickness we are urgently seeking an experienced Print Finisher to join our team on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finishing processes within a print or manufacturing environment. This role involves precise manual work, utilisation of various tools, and physical labour, contributing to the production of high-quality printed materials. The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining safety standards and delivering excellent craftsmanship in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Finish printed materials by trimming, folding, binding, and assembling according to specifications
- Operate hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling print products
- Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet quality standards
- Handle heavy lifting safely during material movement and product handling
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assist with warehouse duties including stock organisation and inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a print finisher or in a similar manufacturing role
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating tools and machinery used in finishing processes
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Physical stamina for standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks throughout shifts
- Experience in the use of booklet makers,laminators and guillotines is desirable
- A proactive attitude with good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: £24,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
