We are currently looking to recruit an HGV driver to join our team in Ipswich. Working predominantly on container haulage from Felixstowe & London Gateway candidates need to be flexible with working hours and prepared to do nights out when required. Weekend working is optional, however running in may be expected from time to time.
A short commute is encouraged due to the fluctuations in the workflow.
Candidates must have the following:
- Hold A Full UK C+E Licence with no DD or DR Endorsements and a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachocard
- A Positive "Can Do" Attitude
- A Good Understanding of Drivers Hours & Regulations
- A Minimum of 2 Years continuous HGV Experience is Preferable
The successful candidate will be offered:
- Guaranteed 11 Hours Per Day / 55 Per Week (non compensated)
- £17.20 Overtime Rate For Hours Above 11+
