You’ll join OCU’s Regulated Power division delivering critical infrastructure across the UK’s regulated electricity networks. Working on transmission and distribution projects, you’ll play a central role in ensuring power infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently and ready to support the growing demands of the energy transition.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-value projects, working with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders while building your career within a fast-growing organisation delivering nationally significant work.
You’ll lead the delivery of regulated power projects from initial planning through to completion, taking responsibility for programme, budget and overall performance. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure projects are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality expectations.
You’ll manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across design, engineering and site operations, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment throughout each stage of delivery. As the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, you’ll maintain strong working relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
You’ll monitor project performance, manage risks and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery. This will include oversight of procurement, subcontractor management and contract administration within NEC or equivalent frameworks.
A key part of your role will be maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance, while also driving continuous improvement across project delivery. You’ll oversee commissioning, handover and close-out activities, ensuring all documentation and requirements are fully completed.
