The Marble Group is an established company that has been operating for 19 years and is one of the fastest-growing stone worktop specialists in the UK. Our clients include private homeowners, leading kitchen companies, developers, architects, and housebuilders.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Stone Worktop Fitter to join our installation team.
This is a hands-on role working with natural stone, quartz and porcelain worktops, delivering high-quality installations for both residential and commercial projects. You will be expected to work independently, lead installations on site, and maintain the high standards our customers expect.
Your main place of work will be on the road carrying out installations, although you may occasionally be required to assist within our factory when needed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing natural stone, quartz and porcelain kitchen worktops, islands, upstands and splashbacks
- Preferably experienced in installing fireplaces, staircases, floor and wall cladding
- Reading technical drawings and ensuring accurate installations
- Working closely with our production and office teams to ensure projects run smoothly
- Liaising professionally with customers, kitchen installers and site managers
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
- Taking responsibility for keeping company tools and equipment well maintained
- Leading installations safely and efficiently while mentoring junior fitters where required
What We Require
- Minimum 5 years' experience fitting stone worktops
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS Card
- Strong experience working with natural stone, quartz and porcelain
- Ability to read technical drawings confidently
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude
