Key responsibilities:
- Acting as the primary contact for tenants, addressing queries efficiently and professionally.
- Overseeing property maintenance, including organising both routine and urgent repairs.
- Conducting periodic property inspections to ensure standards are maintained.
- Managing end-of-tenancy procedures, including deposit negotiations and dispute handling.
- Monitoring rent payments and proactively following up on arrears.
- Keeping property records, tenancy agreements, and compliance documentation up to date.
- Ensuring all properties comply with current legislation and safety standards.
- Handling tenancy renewals and negotiating any changes to agreements.
- Coordinating with external contractors, insurers, and other professional services.
- Providing a high level of service to both landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in property management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and tenants.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- ARLA qualification (or similar) is desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
