Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Healthcare Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintaining efficient practice management. This role requires strong leadership skills, management expertise, and a passion for patients/ clients health and welfare. The Healthcare Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive working environment and ensuring the smooth running of all practice activities.
Duties
- Supervise and support healthcare and administrative staff to ensure optimal team performance
- Oversee healthcare operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Implement human resources policies, training, and staff development programmes
- Develop and maintain client relationships to promote client satisfaction and retention
- Coordinate scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during working hours
- Monitor practice performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols within the practice environment
- Assist in marketing initiatives to promote the practice’s services within the community
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within a healthcare setting
- Strong management skills with a background in business or practice management
- Knowledge of financial management principles relevant to healthcare practices
- Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment, training, and staff appraisal
- Healthcare experience or background is highly desirable but not essential; a genuine interest in healthcare is required
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lead by example and motivate a diverse team of professionals
