Mr Wardrobes is a growing bespoke furniture and fitted interiors company specialising in high-quality fitted wardrobes, media walls, kitchen units, office furniture, display cabinets and bespoke storage solutions across London.
We are looking for a skilled Carpenter / Joiner / Furniture Fitter to join us on upcoming projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and wants to work on high-quality bespoke furniture installations rather than general construction work.
The Role
You will be responsible for installing and finishing bespoke fitted furniture in residential properties.
Typical projects include:
- Fitted wardrobes
- Walk-in wardrobes
- Media walls
- Bespoke cabinets
- Kitchen units
- Home offices
- Display units
- Under-stairs storage
- Other bespoke fitted furniture
You will be working directly on customer projects, so attention to detail, professionalism and a high standard of finish are essential.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in carpentry, joinery or fitted furniture installation
- Experience fitting wardrobes, cabinetry or other bespoke furniture
- Good knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, scribe and fit furniture
- Ability to work from drawings and measurements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- A professional attitude when working in customers' homes
- Own tools preferred
- Driving licence preferred
Experience in fitted wardrobes or bespoke furniture installation is highly desirable.
