Duties
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems.
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), Stick, and Soldering to join pipes and fittings securely.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively to cut, shape, and install pipe components.
- Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes with precision using basic math skills to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Conduct routine maintenance on piping systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs as needed to maintain system integrity.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation and welding activities to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick welding, and soldering techniques for diverse piping applications.
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, pipe fitting principles, and construction practices.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, grinders, as well as power tools for efficient work execution.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe dimensions, angles, and material quantities.
- Experience with assembly of piping components in construction or maintenance settings.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to welding operations and construction environments.

Pay: £36,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
