Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals to healthcare facilities, clinics, and patient homes.
Initial hours include 4pm-6pm Monday-Friday, can be extended depending on the workload present at the site.
Your enthusiasm for driving and excellent communication skills will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van or commercial vehicle to deliver medical supplies and equipment across designated routes.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all items, adhering to scheduled appointments and route plans.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary, following proper safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare staff, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, receipts, and delivery confirmation records.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every shift to ensure safe transportation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably within healthcare or logistics sectors.
- Valid driver’s license; experience with van or commercial vehicle operation is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading medical supplies.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members, clients, and healthcare professionals.
- Warehouse experience is a plus for handling inventory management during deliveries.
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic laws, and safe driving practices is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward customer service.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
