We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented GP Receptionist and Clinical Summariser to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Greeting patients warmly and efficiently managing reception duties
- Scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling patient appointments using practice management software
- Collecting patient information and updating records accurately in compliance with data protection regulations
- Summarising clinical notes from doctors’ consultations and ensuring precise documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Maintaining organised patient files and ensuring all documentation is up-to-date
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing patient enquiries professionally and courteously
- Collaborating with colleagues to improve administrative processes and optimise workflow
Requirements
- Proven computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Knowledge of EMIS Clinical System is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service setting is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- IT literacy with an understanding of electronic health records systems and general office equipment
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality at all times
