Production Operative (Electrical)
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our Production team. This role plays an important part in ensuring our products are assembled efficiently, safely, and to the required quality standards. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver products in line with specifications, production schedules, and customer expectations.
What you'll be doing:
- Follow all relevant health, safety, and environmental requirements, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and Company policies.
- Understand and comply with the Company Business Management System, Quality Manual, procedures, and standards relating to production activities.
- Carry out mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of equipment in accordance with work instructions and specifications.
- Verify that issued components and materials match job parts lists.
- Report any issues, discrepancies, errors, or shortages to the Production Management team.
- Prepare completed equipment for dispatch.
- Load and unload vehicles, where required, in line with safe working practices and company procedures.
- Support site-based activities, including installation work across the UK, when required.
- Build positive working relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and site personnel while promoting the Company's values and culture.

Desirable
- Understanding of control panel manufacture.
- Experience of working on customer or construction sites.
- Experience of continuous improvement methodologies.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science.
- City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Qualification to the current edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.
