Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Joiner/Carpenter to join our small team. This would possibly suit someone who has just finished there time and is looking to further there skill set. or someone who is looking to work with a small team .
Duties
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications.
- Construct frameworks, fixtures, furniture, and custom joinery components with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Install carpentry elements such as doors, windows, flooring, roofing supports, and cabinetry on-site or in workshops.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while handling large or bulky materials during fabrication and installation processes.
- Assist with construction painting, masonry work, plumbing support, electrical tasks, or roofing as needed to support multidisciplinary projects.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of fabrication and installation to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of tasks within project deadlines.
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry with a strong understanding of joinery techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, sanders, saws) efficiently and safely.
- Knowledge of roofing systems, masonry basics, plumbing support skills, electrical experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique to prevent injury.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent measurement and cutting skills for precise craftsmanship.
- Good communication skills for working effectively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to different project requirements including construction painting or other related trades.

Pay: From £17.50 per hour
