As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience through attentive service and culinary knowledge.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper billing procedures are followed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
- A background in culinary arts or food preparation is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
