Part Time Cafe Assistant
We are looking for a reliable and friendly part-time assistant to join our lovely team on a permanent basis at either of our sites: The Press House (Fore Street) and Sunny's (Heavitree Road).
The Role:
As a Cafe Assistant, you will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the cafe, from food preparation and barista work, to opening and closing, dialling in the coffee, cashing up, stocktaking and ordering. You will work as part of a team, while also being confident working independently when required. We're looking for someone organised, reliable and hands-on, with a genuine interest in great coffee, good food and hospitality.
Requirements:
Available any day of the week (this role is unable to cater to fixed days)
Able to travel reliably to both locations
Confident barista with existing knowledge on dialling in and texturing milk
Confident working alone and problem solving
Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
Food and baking experience preferred but not required
Must be available throughout Christmas period and summer holidays
Warm and helpful customer service
Knowledge in food hygiene
