We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our small team.
Duties
The role will include:
- Dog walking
- Equine care, including feeding, watering, mucking out, and general stable duties
- House sitting for clients during holidays and absences
- Caring for the employer's own animals
- Assisting with other animal care and pet service duties as required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Genuine passion for animal welfare
- Experience handling horses and dogs
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Respectful of client privacy and property
Desirable:
- Previous experience in pet sitting, animal care, or equine care
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Basic equine first aid knowledge
House-Sitting Opportunities
In addition to regular weekend hours, the successful applicant may be offered house-sitting assignments lasting approximately 2–10 days. Notice of house-sitting bookings will normally be provided at least one month in advance.

Important Information
Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant will be required to work in clients' homes and around animals of varying sizes and temperaments. Professional conduct, confidentiality, and high standards of animal welfare are essential.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
