About the Role:
Charlie Shen Digital Commerce is looking for an Ecommerce Project Manager to join our Edinburgh team. You will coordinate digital commerce projects from initial planning through launch, helping teams deliver website improvements, platform updates, campaigns and customer experience initiatives on schedule.
This role is suited to someone who understands ecommerce operations and can organise work across technical, commercial and creative teams. You will work closely with developers, marketing colleagues, ecommerce specialists and external partners to keep projects clear, structured and moving toward agreed outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
Define project tasks, timelines, dependencies and delivery milestones for ecommerce initiatives.
Project Coordination:
Coordinate work across technical, marketing, content and operational teams to keep projects on schedule.
Requirement Gathering:
Work with stakeholders to document business needs, technical requirements and expected project outcomes.
Delivery Tracking:
Monitor progress, identify delays and maintain clear updates on project status.
Ecommerce Platform Support:
Coordinate improvements, upgrades and new functionality across ecommerce platforms and connected systems.
Campaign Delivery:
Support the planning and launch of seasonal campaigns, promotions and product releases that require cross team coordination.
Risk Management:
Identify potential delivery risks early and work with relevant teams to reduce their impact.
Testing Coordination:
Organise user acceptance testing and make sure identified issues are recorded and resolved before launch.
Stakeholder Communication:
Provide clear project updates and explain changes, priorities and delivery risks to internal stakeholders.
Documentation:
Maintain project plans, meeting notes, action lists, requirements and decision records.
Supplier Coordination:
Work with external technology providers, agencies or service partners when projects require specialist support.
Post Launch Review:
Review completed projects, collect feedback and identify practical improvements for future delivery.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
Several years of experience in ecommerce, digital project management, website delivery or a related role.
Ecommerce Knowledge:
Good understanding of online retail, customer journeys, product data, promotions and digital platforms.
Project Management:
Experience managing timelines, dependencies, risks and cross functional project activities.
Technical Awareness:
Comfortable discussing website functionality, integrations, testing and platform requirements with technical teams.
Organisation:
Ability to manage several project priorities while maintaining accurate documentation and clear deadlines.
Problem Solving:
Ability to identify delivery issues, gather the right information and coordinate practical solutions.
Communication:
Strong spoken and written English with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non technical colleagues.
Stakeholder Management:
Confidence working with different teams, balancing priorities and maintaining clear expectations throughout a project.
Attention to Detail:
Ability to review requirements, timelines, testing results and project documentation carefully.
Mindset:
You are organised, commercially aware and delivery focused. You communicate risks early, keep stakeholders informed and focus on practical solutions that help ecommerce projects launch successfully.
Pay: £3,800.00-£4,600.00 per month
