Community Law Service is a specialist advice provider based in Northamptonshire. The Service delivers free, independent and confidential advice and casework to the public in the fields of welfare benefits, debt, fuel poverty, housing and immigration. CLS is a member of AdviceUK.
HOURS: Full time (35 hours a week Monday – Friday)
SALARY: £24,779 - £28,962 per annum dependent on experience
BENEFITS: 26 days (rising to 31 days after 5 years’ service) per annum plus Bank Holidays
Flexible working hours (within core hours)
Hybrid/home working after probationary period
5% pension contribution
Contractual sick pay after probationary period
OFFICE BASE: 49 - 53 Hazelwood Road, Northampton NN1 1LG
FUNDING: Currently confirmed until March 2029
PURPOSE OF POST: To work in partnership with The Hope Centre (Northampton) to deliver an holistic face to face money advice service particularly to vulnerable individuals and families who are, or who are at risk of homelessness. The focus will be on providing welfare benefits and debt advice alongside broader financial capability support with a homeless prevention focus. An end to end casework service will be provided.
