Join My Colourful World – Become Part of My Support Team
I’m looking for a few amazing people to join my small, dedicated support team. I don’t really see you as just a “Support Worker” you’ll be someone who helps me enjoy life, achieve my goals, try new things, and have lots of fun along the way.
I love colour, laughter, creativity, and making the most of every day. My home is bright, stylish, and welcoming (people often say it feels more like a boutique Airbnb than a workplace!), so if you enjoy beautiful surroundings, cosy evenings, and a positive atmosphere, you’ll feel right at home.
No two days are ever the same. You could be helping me cook dinner, baking something delicious, going shopping, dancing around the kitchen, heading out for activities, planning my next adventure, or simply enjoying a relaxing evening at home with a film and a hot chocolate.
Like everyone, I have good days and days when I need a little extra support. I’m autistic and have ADHD and a learning disability, so I’m looking for people who are kind, patient, understanding, and genuinely interested in building a positive relationship. You don’t need to have all the answers, full training and support will be provided. What matters most is that you are calm, compassionate, reliable, and enjoy helping someone live life to the fullest.
I’m looking for someone who:
- Brings positive energy and a great sense of humour.
- Enjoys colourful, vibrant, and creative environments.
- Is patient, kind, and dependable.
- Can support me to maintain my independence while being there when I need help.
- Enjoys getting out and about in the community.
- Wants to make a real difference in someone’s life.
- Is able to drive, as I have my own car and transport is an important part of my independence.
- A female-only position
- Is flexible and able to work a variety of shifts between 7:00am and 10:00pm, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
What you’ll get in return:
- A rewarding role where every day is different.
- Weekend and sleep-in shifts as part of the rota.
- Full training and ongoing support.
- A warm, welcoming team who genuinely care about each other.
- A beautiful and comfortable place to work.
- The opportunity to be part of someone’s journey and make a meaningful difference.
This isn’t just another Support Worker role. It’s an opportunity to become part of a small team that helps me live a happy, independent, and fulfilling life.
If you’re looking for a role where your personality is valued, your ideas are welcomed, and you can truly make a difference, I’d love to hear from you.
Come and be part of my colourful world!
