Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, following all safety protocols and legal requirements
- Verify prescription details, dosage instructions, and patient information to prevent errors and ensure medication safety
- Assist patients with medication administration guidance and answer their questions about prescriptions and over-the-counter products
- Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, inventory levels, and patient interactions to ensure compliance and traceability
- Support the pharmacy team in managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and organizing medication storage for efficiency
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify prescription details or resolve any discrepancies promptly
- Uphold all health and safety standards, including proper handling of pharmaceuticals and maintaining a clean workspace
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Good communication and organisational skills.

- A commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in a community pharmacy.
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent).
- Experience using pharmacy dispensing systems.
- Medicines Counter Assistant qualification.
