About the Role
Lakes Aquarium is looking for enthusiastic, friendly Seasonal Assistants to join our team, supporting us throughout the main visitor season.
Based at the beautiful Lakeside on the shores of Windermere, this role offers the chance to work in a unique visitor attraction while gaining hands‑on experience in a busy, customer‑focused environment. It’s ideal for anyone looking for seasonal work during the summer.
What You’ll Do
As a Seasonal Assistant, you’ll help ensure visitors have a welcoming and enjoyable experience. Duties will vary depending on the day and may include:
- Welcoming visitors and providing a friendly first impression
- Assisting guests around the attraction and answering questions
- Supporting admissions, catering and retail areas
- Helping maintain clean, safe and well‑presented public spaces
- Working as part of a friendly, supportive team during busy periods
No two days are the same and flexibility is key as visitor numbers increase during peak times.

Previous experience is not essential, we’re more interested in enthusiasm and a great attitude. Full training will be provided.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
