Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Upsell drinks and food items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, working closely with the kitchen staff.
- Maintain an organised bar area, including inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Requirements
- Age requirement: 25+
- Proven experience in a bartending role or similar hospitality position is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
