You will be required work 20 days out of 28. Hours are 7.00am-10.00am in the morning and the afternoon shift is from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. You will have your own accomodation, this is provided rent free...you are only responsible for the electricity and gas you use. You will be required to stay overnight at the property for at least 12 of the days you are working....although you can stay for more.
You will need to be trustworthy, reliable, able to solve problems and of course fit and active, energetic and enthusiastic.
Skills / Requirements:
Understanding basics of animal behaviour and health
Passionate about animal welfare
Able to work under pressure, doing physically-demanding work
Good eye for detail with excellent observational skills
Willing and able to handle large, boisterous dogs and dogs of a nervous disposition
Hard worker with a positive attitude
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Good computer skills, including social media
Duties Include:
Maintaining high kennel standards at all times to owners 'exacting standards
Cleaning the kennels and cattery
Dog walking
Bathing, feeding, and general animal care
Customer service - checking customers in and out, answering questions, making bookings
Help maintain the company's social media presence, taking and posting photos, etc.
