Job Title: Multi-Skilled Operative – Joinery & Painting (New Build Properties)
Location: Macclesfield
Salary: £19.70 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative with strong joinery and painting skills to join our clients team working on new build residential properties in the Macclesfield area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled tradesperson to work on high-quality new build developments, carrying out finishing and remedial works to ensure properties are completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a range of joinery tasks within new build homes.
- Complete internal and external painting and decorating works.
- Undertake snagging and finishing works prior to handover.
- Install and repair doors, skirting boards, architraves, and other joinery components.
- Prepare surfaces and apply paint finishes to a professional standard.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Work independently and as part of a wider site team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in both joinery and painting/decorating.
- Previous experience working on new build residential developments.
- Ability to complete high-quality finishing and snagging works.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines.
