Full training provided – no previous care experience needed.
A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
What You’ll Do
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in helping clients build independence and enjoy a fulfilling life. Your day-to-day may include:
- Supporting clients to follow and review their personalised support plans
- Helping maintain a safe, comfortable home environment (no personal care required)
- Offering practical support such as medication prompting, shopping, cooking, and housekeeping
- Encouraging clients to explore work, volunteering, hobbies, and community activities
- Organising wellbeing-focused activities that promote a healthy lifestyle
- Assisting with meal prep, laundry, and general daily living tasks
- Helping clients communicate with professionals (contractors, healthcare teams, etc.)
- Guiding clients in understanding responsibilities, safety, and community engagement
- Supporting with budgeting and financial tasks where needed
- Contributing to risk assessments and attending client reviews
- Recording and reporting incidents in line with health & safety procedures
- Listening, problem-solving, and helping clients access the right support
