Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to provide personalised care and assistance to a young woman in her own home. shift pattern will be from 3 or 4pm until 10pm plus a sleep in from 10pm - 8am plus 8am -10am the following morning. shifts can be once a week on a set day or 2 or 3 days a week to include a shift at least every other wekend. full or part time hours available. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting her to access the community, ensuring their safety, and fostering a positive environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored support in accordance with the care plan.
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care .
- Support her during outings and appointments, including driving when necessary. Mileage paid at 40p per mile.
- Foster a nurturing environment that promotes emotional well-being and development.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and activities, adhering to confidentiality protocols.
- Use IT tools effectively to update documentation and communicate with team members.
Requirements
- Experience working with young adults with a brain injury is highly desirable.
- Valid driving licence and the ability to drive safely are essential.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with, families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them consistently.
- Strong IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in supporting young adults and well-being.
- Ability to work flexibly within scheduled hours, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Pay: £13.50-£20.25 per hour
