We're hiring for a new scaffold chargehand to join our team at the Dimlington Gas Terminal near Hull. Start date is September 2nd on a permanent contract.
Job Role
We require our scaffold chargehand to:
- Supervise and coordinate all scaffolding activities on site, ensuring safe, compliant (TG20) & Safe Zone Plus, and efficient erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding.
- Raise & manage permits.
- Have good computer literacy.
- Use Altrad's digital scaffold inspection system (training provided).
- Monitor scaffold yard operations & stock levels, manage workforce deployment, reporting to the Altrad Site Manager.
- Liaise with the site manger & client to plan the safe execution of planned work scopes.
- Keep up to date with Altrad documents using the Altrad Integrated Management System (AIMS).
Essential Requirements

- IOSH and/or LATS Training
